I make 8 qt pot soup every week with 1 pkg chicken bones or 2 chicken breast with bones. But I cook way longer than 2 hours. Not sure if 2 hours is enough time to get the flavor from the bones to that amount water.

Figure 8 ounces or 1 cup per serving, 32 ounces for 4 servings. However, many soup bowls hold more like 10 or 12 ounces.

Once you put the chicken and veggies in there's not that much room for so much water.

You won't be able to add 32 cups of water. Not even close. Less than half of that.

Contact kosher.com and ask. They'll be happy to edit their recipe if there's a mistake.

when I do regular chicken soup with more veggies than this and also a packet of bones I do it in a much smaller pot than 8 quart and I fill it with water nearly till the top and when I add the bones and the veggies there is no water overflowing.

This recipe calls for 2 lbs bones, 1 lb chicken, 3 lbs zucchini.

Just made this recipe. I measured for you. 13 cups.

1 lb spanish onion, garlic, 2lbs chicken bones, 4 lbs zucchini (4 medium-large zucchini), and 13 cups water. The contents reached a little more than 1 inch from the top of the pot, I needed room for bubbling. Cutlets will be added later (and soup level will likely have lowered a bit by then, making room for them).

Yes and yes. Going to add cubed cutlets shortly.

ETA: I think I used less salt. I seasoned it after I blended the soup, before I added the chicken for the last few minutes.

The pot fits 32 cups of water. Google is not wrong. 8 quarts equals 32 cups.

BUT After you add in all the chicken bones and zucchini and leave 1+ inch space from top of pot, there's only room left for 13 cups water. The rest took up 19 cups of space.
