Dh and I have always had a king bed plus a camp bed for niddah. Well, we're getting older and creakier and the camp bed doesn't cut it anymore. It's gotten to a point where dh now just sleeps in a different room when I'm niddah. So I think it's time to say goodbye to the camp bed and find something more likely to be comfortable. We don't have room for a big bed (and we love our king, not getting rid of that). It would need to be a futon or daybed or some such. But it has to be comfortable, we're only getting older. But we're not that old yet. Still at least a decade plus of niddah (and no more babies, so it will be regular), so it's got to see us through. So I'm looking for suggestions of a futon/daybed that is known to be as comfortable as a regular bed. Obviously the cheaper the better, but can put about $1000 into this for the right piece of furniture.

Wall hung king headboard with two xl twin platform beds that go flush together, king linens work, quality mattresses don't leave a "crack". Slide a little apart and use twin linens for nidda.

Thanks, but not interested in getting rid of the bed we have. Looking for links to beds that might work.
