We're looking to get a warming tray for shabbos/yt. I'm not really understanding how it works. All the ones I see have an automatic shut off feature. Are there any that you can set on a timer to go on and off at certain times so it could keep food warm when you need it, but won't be on the whole time?

You need one of the simple no control no shut off ones and just plug it into a 7 day timer

What do you mean no control? No temperature control?

The more basic the better. We have a no temperature dial one because of shabbos and it works well on a timer or staying on as long as we want
