My son is heading towards a firm decision to join the IDF next year or so.
We are chabad, American. What is the best lone soldier program that would fit for him? He doesn't know a word in Hebrew, has never been to Israel, so I would like to try to make this as smooth as possible for him.
It's killing me but I know he was born for this. I don't know yet if he wants the frum programs or not so I need as much info as I can get.

Nevut is a program in the IDF run by Chaim Meisels who resides in Monsey , who he himself is in the IDF. They actually are doing a bike ride tomorrow to raise funds for the organization .

Can you explin how someone not physically in israel can run an army program?

I’d strongly recommend Garin Tzabar, especially since he doesn’t know Hebrew. They have Dati Garinim, where the group of kids is dati and they move to a dati kibbutz.

Firstly he’s constantly going back and forth and he lived in Israel before. He’s a reservist and has gone multiple times to fight in Gaza.
Secondly, I found out this organization is to help the lone soldiers after they complete service etc.
Since Oct 7th their program has become super busy unfortunately.
