I couldn't find a functional one. so I bought a smart phone and dumbed it down through TAG so all I have is talk, text, whatsapp, maps, and 24six music.

Yeah this. It actually comes with the whatsapp icon on it already. I don't know how easy it is use whatsapp from flipphone though.
Also it's not the best phone in general.

Was going to say this or CAT
We have both.
CAT is touch screen.
They run on android.
CAT comes with full browsers and social media.
The CAT is easier to use than the NUU F4L in general.
If you are good with computers you can add and remove apps using android tools (like I removed the browser and messenger app)

look for a "feature phone" that runs on KaiOS. what works will depend on your carrier (I can't have a CAT with Verizon), but this type of phone will work
