Hi,
I'm about to get a pedicure and there's a guy (not obviously Jewish looking) getting a pedicure a few chairs down. Is that considered tznius? Ty

I mean, if you hold that tznius includes your lower leg and and foot than yeah it's not tznius.

If you're someone who goes out with sandals and no socks than obviously not.

For me, I think its tznius if your skirt doesn't go above your knee.
Did you end up getting a pedicure?

I'm really sorry, it's supposed to be enjoyable...
I don't know your "frumkeit" level, and I'm not your Rabbi, but I really don't feel you did anything wrong.

I had this and I waited till the guy left. I was not comfortable sitting in the same area getting a pedicure while he was there. He wasn’t a Yid so I can’t blame him for coming but I wish the place could have a separate area for the random men that come in.

I'm litvish yeshivish - wouldn't call myself modern and lower legs halachicly are fine.
Tights/stocking are a community accepted thing - minhag hamokom
If you go to the beach you are allowed to be without socks if there are mens but upper legs you need a skirt.

I wouldn't go out without either stockings or a long skirt with long enough socks that my legs don't show. But I have gotten pedicures where there was either a male customer or a male nail tech working on a different lady.

I was at a salon recently and an obviously frum guy DH knows from the community walked in. My husband was waiting for me outside, he was mortified. I was shocked. I wanted to run out as soon as possible

My husband spoke to him nonchalantly after, and the guy told him, why not? There's no sign it's not unisex! Apparently he goes to such places often.

DH asked him if he doesn't find it weird that he's the only guy there. He just Shrugged and sent dh a bunch of articles showing that a large percentage of male millennials get pedicures. 🤷

We are yeshivish actually, and our yeshivish Rav surprised me recently by clarifying he holds below the knee does not need to be covered at all.
His wife wears stockings but he stressed that is because she fits in with her circles that way, and that halachicly it isnt necessary.

I thought halachically the ankle and down is supposed to be covered? and obviously knees have to be covered.

I don’t see an issue. He doesn’t need to be looking at your feet. He’s there for his own service

Not according to all Rabanim.
There are many mainstream Rabanim that hold its not halacha to cover below the knee.
The new book on tznius, Reclaiming Dignity, actually explains this nicely
