how can a toddler boy wear the blue outfit? people really put boys in tights? what color? also if I just get the top how can he wear it?

Many people do tights.
I like my kids to be fashionable but I hate the look on boys, so I was very grateful that I've only had girls since it really became the norm and difficult to find something that doesn't need tights or knee socks in a Jewish store.
Or if you look at the way they style it on Instagram you could also just by the shirt with the knit suspender pants, w/ optional cardigan on top.

I always try to see how the brand Styles things because that's the best way to know how it was meant to be.

You can do just the top with the suspender leggings https://www.lillegsbaby.com/pr.....7617. I also don't love the tights look for boys.

For yom tov your toddler can still wear socks to this. For every shabbos I would do leggings

I don't really get the diff with leggings and tights when your son is wearing bootie type shoes anyways. If you would do pants then that is very different but not at all trendy. The leggings are skin tight and so are the tights.
The only difference is you don't need to also put socks on him it's way more convenient.
I am talking about thick sweater tights, not nylon.
