Granddaughter is waiting for her father to ask a shayla if she can take an on-line course, but I'm wondering if there are any courses for which you don't need Internet (or at most email to send assignments etc). She can have access occasionally or get a tablet, they are not sure the best way to proceed.
I think I've seen ads for courses where you get all the course materials on a stick etc., though I don't remember for what kind of courses.
Any info greatly appreciated.

The bold edge has courses. And also special teen courses. They are on usb. I took their graphic design course and was extremely impressed by the high quality.

The bigger issue, unless she's just a teen doing this for fun, and you can't really be a graphic designer without good internet (I.E a bad filter.) graphic design is the type of field that requires a lot of image searching.

Adding to this..the design programs are all cloud based today. Would be hard to work only having occasional access.

She's working for two years, teaching and in an office, and she's good at graphics. I guess the plan is to take a good course, eventually she would use it in an office where there is Internet. If she ended up free-lancing, that would be a separate shayla.

Great course. They send you a package with the course with an internet free iPad. I think they also have an option of renting a laptop, something like it.
