I have a Yeshiva bochur who will be staying by someone else for Yuntif who we don’t know. What should I send with as a hostess gift? It’s an older couple so don’t think a candy platter will be appropriate and I thought flowers don’t seem nice enough since he’ll be sleeping there for a couple nights. Though he won’t be eating there. Maybe I’m over thinking this. Any ideas? Tysm!

Flowers sound lovely.

I like getting a book from a Judaica store as a gift, I'll get a new release to make sure it's not something they have yet

A havdalah candle is a great gift because even if you have one you'll need a new one eventually.

Exactly. And these are a step above the classic ones because they are a bit more modern but still well priced.
