Agree. It’s an old story gotten considerably more complicated. AFAIK there are 175 kids w/o a school. And if you have a child with special needs stay in the city

The issue unfortunately goes deeper than this. Many people move from Brooklyn & offer a big bribe for a slot in school, causing the school to give away a slot from a family that's currently in the school already or from long time Monsey residents. Unfortunately, schools have changed dramatically since people started moving out in droves.
