When did you tell your employer that you were pregnant and why? Do you feel they found out before you told them?

Did you require special accommodations after you told them? I.e. different hours, telework, breaks

Dealing with that now, almost showing and barely 13 weeks...I wanted to wait until after y"t for sure, but if I can't put on winter clothes to hide it a bit longer I might need to tell him before.
B"h I have a really flexible schedule, but I do need to go to MFM and have more appts scheduled that what I've been told is "normal" .. I'm married a year, something tells me he'll catch on before I want to tell him. - because I also think he's "expecting it" lol that I'll get pregnant right away

Do you log sick hours for your appointments?

I get paid hourly, if I don't come I don't get paid.
It's a very informal office, just me and the boss, I don't have a contract or anything.

For those who told in 6 months, were you not showing?

I told in 4 months. I was excited to share with my boss because I was dealing with some other medical issues so BH got to this place. He said he assumed because I had more appts than usual, but was so happy.

With my first I told her at 6 weeks.
I worked from home and came in once a week. She was a very controlling boss.
the night before I was supposed to go in I had some bleeding and knew if I cancel without a good reason she will be livid and not hide that she was upset at me... DH and I realised its better to let her know (esp at the time we thought it was a mis so may need time off) I just sent her a text to say Im not coming in as im early pregnant and bleeding so have to go to dr. She was of course every understanding and so glad I told her then. I also had to tell her not to tell my sil, who was her neighbour and relative as no one besides parents knew.

Cant remember when I told her by my next one.

25 weeks as per the law in the UK

Boss was very surprised (normally she checks me out top to bottom and side to side, but I guess she just didn't realize or we were too rushed for her to properly look at me.)

In my country the law is to inform „as soon as possible“. I informed at 12 weeks.

I usually tell at 5 months until I had to 'un-tell' my male boss at 6 months.
Now I tell at 7 months.

Yes they see me, but I officially acknowledge it via email at 7 months.

Told my boss around 11 weeks. I have high risk pregnancies and had to have surgery and a lot of appointments around then so it made sense.

I told my previous employer at 7 months that I’m pregnant I kept on pushing it off. I worked in an extremely sheltered environment so it was easier to conceal. Thank g-d I told him the latest possible cuz he fired me a week after telling him..

I told manager at 6 weeks because he made some comments about my performance.

I just told the rest of my workmates at 14 weeks.
I won't be showing until much later on maybe only end of 3 trimester, so it doesn't really make sense to wait until I'm showing.
