There was a helpline advertised in the local jewish advertiser here. Mcr.
Im also looking for some advice.
If you search manchester jewish advertiser they have the old copies online but I cant access it at the moment as my computer is broken.
If you find it please can you post.

I dont think it was paperweight.
It was a new service.
