Bingo's sale has me intrigued
Can anyone who has it weigh in on whether it was worth buying?
Is there a subscription you have to buy with it?
Do your kids get addicted to it, or is it basically a really good alternative to screen time? My kids don't get any screen time as it is, so I don't just want this to become a "kosher" alternative to that.

ETA does it also include regular Jewish adult music and/or podcast options?

You do not need a subscription to enjoy (Subscription give you more content, but there is plenty without), but you do need wifi.
It has mixed reviews in my house. My 14 year old son barely touches it. He once or twice listened to layning before practicing layning for school minyan.
My 11 year old daughter loves it. She listens to stories very often. She'll listen while doing crafts on a Sunday afternoon, she'll listen in bed, she'll listen when she has down time. She's not addicted, but really enjoys.
My 7 year old daughter also enjoys, but uses it much less.
I've brought it into the kitchen while cooking for shabbos and put on music.

My son loves it. He listens to stories.
I put on parental controls, it stops working at 10 PM.
The customer service was really great when we had an issue.

I have for about 6 years now. My kids love it. We do have the premium subscription so we have a lot more stories and a lot of music. I have it connected to my house speaker system. My kids put on music all the time on it and have it going in all the rooms.

My father gifted it to all his kids (9! KH)
We all love it and some of us even bought another one since the kids can’t seem to agree to listen to the same thing.
My sister had an issue with hers and they sent a new one immediately.
My other sister broke hers (dropped it a flight of stairs) they offered her a really steep discount to replace it.

It’s 100% worth it

I had no idea bingo is running this sale, I’ll most certainly go grab one to enjoy for the summer house Thanks!
