If focusing is not my child's strong point, is there a way to strengthen it? Any vitamins or exercise I can do to help him/her focus better in class?

How old are they? Have you checked their ears?
When DD needed assessment for hitpatchut hayeled (Israel system for ot/st/PT etc) since the teacher said she wasn't focused, you need to do eye and hearing test before being assessed, she has glasses from age 2 but hearing we never realised was a problem. She had fluids and her results came as hearing between 10-30%....
BH after treatment it has gone back to 100% but never thought it was a problem, it only was problematic in large areas like classroom not small areas like rooms in the house.

Check their thyroid function with a FULL thyroid panel. Hypothyroidism can mimic ADD.

L tyrosine is another supplement that can help. It increases dopamine in the brain, similar to how Ritalin works.
There's also l dopa from mucuna pruriens.

The book finally focused might have some more good ideas for you.

I agree with the recommendation for a developmental vision exam with an optometrist who is trained in vision therapy. They can pick up on things that regular optometrists don't check for.

I'll just say it: If you rule everything else out, please don't hesitate to have your child evaluated for ADHD. No reason to suffer long term if that's what it is.

Thing is that she did get glasses last year after I posted the same question here on imamother last year and someone mentioned to check eyes. I was shocked because a year earlier when he/she was examined he didnt need glasses
Then I evaluated my perfect ly well behaved child and s/he is not adhd.
could you tell me more about the Rav kshav drops?

I found Omega 3 fish oil pills really has helped my kids. They are also on meds but its been a great compliment. Dr Hallowell who is one of the experts in ADHD recommends it. It has to have a certain ratio of EPA to DHA for it to be the most effective. We give this https://www.amazon.com/Pharmep.....UK2IE

Did you just check his eyes with a regular eye doctor or a developmental optometrist for prisms?
Its 2 separate things.
