Two of my students (14 years old) are moving to the states next week. I'd like to make them something, not food, as a good-bye gift. I would have to do it tomorrow because I teach them again on Thursday and then they're leaving right after r"h. Any ideas? TIA
BTW, I teach them esl if that makes any difference.

Make them an airplane letter! It is a fairly sized package that says, do not open until the seatbelt signs go off. Each layer should say, ‘do not open until you are flying over the ocean” do not open until the first meal is served. Etc.

Each layer should have something short and sweet, yet entertaining. It can be a letter, a game “get signatures of all the people with glasses”…

My 14 year old would love a funky bracelet or wristlet.

Thanks for your ideas. I didn't mention it, but these are satmar girls and besides for the diary (which I'm not spending the money for one), I don't think they'd appreciate the other one. I ended up getting a book holder magnet which has tefilos haderech written on it. They also had a pen that a tefilos haderech pulls out of it, but the other thing was cheaper Wink .

I love giving scrapbooks to that age group because the come in all sizes and they love to fill them with pictures or special things they pick up here or there. But what you got them was a very good idea also and smart to
