Do you go for a yearly well visit? Who do you use name? Male or female? Do you also go for yearly for a gyn appointment even when you not pregnant? In addition?

I go for a well visit every year. My PCP is male
I also go for a gyn annual every year usually with a female
I'm not sure why so many women skip well visits for themselves. It's important

I went and they misdiagnosed me so now I have a specialist to order my blood work and get second opinions on anything not in normal range. The well visit, if you have no symptoms and your blood pressure is normal and you take responsibility for your diet and overall health is really about the blood work. If you are overweight, you know it and it's not like they'll spend an hour creating a menu with you. You would've done it with a nutritionist yourself. I go to a female gym for a pap every 5 years. The yearly is overrated if you don't have symptoms.
Well visits is an American thing FYI.
