Idk but their website has been down for weeks. I hope it's not true, but I'm afraid sensationalist tabloids like YWN attract all the clicks.

I have some insider's info, and yes, they (and Binah) are definitely struggling. I think Hamodia subscribers have sensed that for a while. No idea if they're going out of business though

Not a Hamodia subscriber but this is so sad. I work in a related field and prices for printing and distribution have shot up tremendously over the last year or so. It’s not an easy market for anyone. Hoping they pull through.

Also want to point out that you can’t blame this on news sites like ywn for the simple reason that there will always be a strong need for print media in the frum world, thanks to Shabbos and Yom Tov.

This is disappointing. When I started reading news, I began with YWN, but soon decided not to return there. Have been a Hamodia subscriber for many years, also read the website daily.

Magazines come and go but I think there is a real communal need for news minus schmutz. YWN and similar are too tabloidish for my tastes. I have a young teenager who love current events and I am happy he can read the hamodia vs a real newspaper. I hope it works out for them and they stay afloat.

That's a pity, if true. The magazines really fill a niche and I've been finding Hamodia getting better and better. And been pleasantly surprised by Binah too.
But I've been especially concerned about the website and app. I have Hamodia on my kosher phone and 1) like the ease of checking on my phone but more important 2) like a Jewish site without comments.

Hamodiah isn't one of these small publications that came and went over the years. It'll be very upsetting to a lot of us if it actually goes under.

I hope not. I love binah more than the other magazines. It's so much lighter. It has easy reads when I'm too tired to concentrate. And it's packed with emunah and good vibes.

I was happy to see that https://www.hamodia.com/ now says a new website is coming soon! It wasn't working at all before
