Iyh we’ll be traveling for succos it will be a long flight. I’m looking to buy some sort of device that can be filtered heavily, they can watch on toveedo, download some games, and lightweight. I can’t afford to spend a lot. I also know that I need to buy 3 of them. What are the best options? The cheapest option?

Call tag and ask about the Amazon tablet for kids. We did it about 10 yrs ago when we were traveling. They put parental controls on. That if the kid tries to reset it they loose all the games etc. Ask tags opinion. We didn't use it for watching from the Internet. Only videos that we downloaded on an SD card.

Tx! Yes I was thinking about downloading a bunch of videos and games so we can shut off all other apps. I will def look into the tablet. If I download do we need internet/wifi? Dumb question I know but I’m very illiterate technologically - yes I kno that’s horrible and I gotta work on it

There are great activity books out there, like yes & no books, word searches, scratch off books.

Oh no ur kidding?! We have Netflix for myself and dh. I have found that the stuff for kids and tweens has become so so terrible. Even shows like peppa pig talks about their friend with 2 moms. I mean..

Yes of course I’ll be picking these up but sitting on flight for close to 12 hrs we’re going to need watching for my sanity.

My husband downloads DVDs to an external hard drive and then plugs it in to a laptop. Bec th6dvds gets scratched.

We just did this, downloaded YouTube videos, music and games on a fire tablet for my son. If they will only use it on the flights then they probably won't have internet access or need a filter.

Don't rely on " only using in flights" when you on vacation...and in airports. You never know when you'll need the distraction. Get it filtered. You hear too many " by mistake" stories.

Yes, this is why I’m asking what’s the best one to get. I used to give my kids tablet for Netflix and YouTube kids and the stuff on there the past 2 yrs is beyond horrible. I guess I should be calling tag to see what device they recommend.
