Hi I've been volunteering for bikur cholim and chai lifeline cooking suppers and yomtov food for families in need for many years. I recently self catered my Shabbos bar mitzvah and everything was delicious and figured out just right bh! Many ppl are telling me I should go into the business of making home cooked food for ppl for yomtov, Shabbos or just because. I'm not a go getter by nature but love cooking and baking and I am a very organized, clean person. Is there a need for this in our area? If anyone can guide me it would be very much appreciated! Ty!!

Depends on your business model.
There are some personal chefs who plan a menu for the family and then prep it in the person's home and leave with instructions on how to cook for the next few days.
Some people would really like this because the menu can be tailored specifically to what people want to eat.
You wouldn't need specific licenses for this - just build up a clientele.
ETA - This could be really helpful to people with special dietary needs of any kind weight loss - allergies - or just food preference. You can also cater to people who like to eat more healthily since takeout food/processed food tends to be very high in sodium and fat whereas you can make really delicious meals home cooked utilizing healthier ingredients and techniques.
