How long do You generally daven for a name of a person you don’t know about after the updates have stopped ? For example a few
Months ago there was a WhatsApp message about a father who had an awful accident and needed tefillos, a while later there was an update that he was released from hospital but has a long recovery and needs tefillos still. This was all many months ago and I still say his name every day even though I don’t actually know how he is doing and he could be ok now. I have had this before and I eventually just drop the name after it’s a been a long time, what do you do ?

I've dropped names too. I might think about them in Refaeinu or just say a perek for all to be going well if I think of them.
