Lil Legs lounge set or outfit?

I bought this outift for my baby and thought it was a regular outfit for weekday but then I saw my friend on shabbos and her baby was dressed in it as shabbos pajamas. I didnt realize its under the website as a lounge set. I would never spend this much on pajamas. Do you think I can get away with him wearing it as a regular outfit? hes 8 months but really big.

I'd return it. I wouldn't pay that for pajamas, or to dress my kid in clothes that people consider pajamas.

It seems to me to be PJs.
Oh well at least you get gorgeous PJs!
Personally I pay more for shabbos PJs than for weekday outfits at that age bc my kids live in shabbos pjs on shabbos until age 2. Only get dressed up for a kiddush or to go to shul.

but idk to me these dont look like shabbos pajamas, shabbos pajamas are more velvet pretty shabbos looking. This has words on it. But I am really not in the hock. These are considered Shabbos??

Your baby is 8 months, you can put it on for whatever you want! Weekday as clothes is totally fine.
I wouldn't pay that on a weekday outfit either for his age personally but you do you.
Enjoy it now that you have it!

For a toddler I would do as fancy pjs but an 8 month old I consider this an outfit
This is not more pjs than a strechie which is what lots of babies wear

Stretchies are basically pajamas and we dress our babies in stretchies!

I think this is fine for your baby for weekday

It’s called loungewear which is perfect everyday wear for an 8 month old. No different than babies who are in stretchies all day.

Agreed. I bought a few sets for my 2 yo that my neighbor told me (afterwards!) are pajamas.

Ummmm my 8 month old baby has 1 outfit from shower to shower. I'm dressing my baby not modeling them. If someone has an issue with what I put on baby that's tough luck.
The fact that society has gotten so out of control with "style and trends" doesn't mean we gotta keep up to it.
