Best if you can go to a store that sells plus sizes and try.

unfortunately I am not in a place that has a plus size store so I need online (but I am okay ordering a few and returning)

Search Amazon for black midi skirt. Only order ones that have free returns. I just did this for dd. She’s a m/l but many of the ones I looked at had up to 2x or 3X. (Better to take your measurements & use those, sizes vary greatly-one m fit beautifully and in one we ended up with xl.)

I love the Olive and Tuesday circle skirts!
They come in 3 diff lengths. I usually get the 18inch as I’m short.
