I’ve recently seen ads about 2 different supplements that can help for growth.
Has anyone tried any natural type growth vitamins?
Please share if you have experience

Are you referring to L Arginine from forever living?

Thx! Can you share more details like how old was the child and how much growth?

Also, the reviews online seem to be all about energy and workouts etc, nothing about growth.

I just checked the ingredients.

whats the main ing which would support growth?
l arginine?

its also got quite abit of not so good stuff in it.

wouldnt it be better to give the good ingredients separately?

I started my 15 year old son on Solgar l-Arginine 1000g tablets last year. The pills are massive but he takes two a day. I have no way of determining whether they are helping or not, but I figure that I'm doing our hishtadlus. (He never qualified for growth hormone, though he was followed by an endocrinologist.)

Did he grow?
How did you determine that it wasn’t too late to start?

I have no idea. He was always short but above the 5th percentile, but I suddenly realized about a year ago that he hadn't grown much recently (I didn't need to buy him the next size in a while) and got nervous. Seems he had his growth spurt earlier and was tapering down. When I mentioned to the endo who he hadn't seen in a while, she didn't see any reason to do bone age or bring him in, since he wasn't going to start GH then and it would just make him self conscious. That was when I started him on the l arginine. He did end up growing another inch or two in the past year and needing the next size, to my relief. But I have no idea if he would have even without the l arginine. So not really sure if this is helpful to you.

I guess my reason for posting is because you were worried about the additives in argi, so I wanted to mention the Solgar pills as a potential alternative.

(I did ask a relative physician whether he thinks it's safe for my son to take and he said yes. I am a firm believer to check with an MD before taking supplements, please don't rely on my relative 😉)
