We have a big anniversary this week. Decided to do Salt because of the boardwalk location.

Salt is busy and not so romantic/cozy but it’s a cool spot because of the boardwalk, food is excellent
Tomahawk is also very busy, not so romantic/cozy because it’s usually pretty full
Loft and charq are both nice, food is okay.
Seared has a beautiful intimate ambiance

We love lampppost

It’s usually quieter than most Lakewood places and salt so the vibe is nicer

Went to seared last week and had a really fun enjoyable experience! Tables aren't so close together so it gave more of a private feel. I was able to talk to my husband without other people being in earshot. Food is like no other place imo. So unique and delicious.

I was trying to understand the need for an ambulance at a restaurant - was it a very ill person?

And then I realized it was a typo - ambiance.

Sometimes autocorrect will truly autocorrect bizarrely.

I heard seared is a unique experience. I'd love to try it sometime. Between loft and tomahawk- I found I got more for my money in tomahawk.

Lamppost hands down. Delicious food, great service, very nice ambiance. Always have a great experience there.

Tomahawk is loud and squishy. Loft was good food but it was busy and loud.

We love salt
We also feel tht if we’re going out once a year, we wanna drive out of Lakewood. Not just 10 min away

The city is far
And expensive with tolls and parking

And also by Salt
When we are done eating, we love taking a walk on the boardwalk. At tht point , there aren’t many ppl at the beach and it’s beautiful

Salt is def the best! But further out and the most expensive.

Loft is a classic always great.

Seared is unique, similar pricing to loft and is a great experience, they are having an anniversary special now, I think a free appetizer or something like that
