What are my options for giving my daughter music lessons?
I don’t play any instruments, so I don’t know how teaching young kids works- are there specific instruments that are easier to start with?
Is 3.5 too young? She keeps asking me to learn..
Any recommendations for a music teacher?
TIA

It’s a bit young. I’ve taught 5-7 year olds and found none of them had the grit and determination to make it through. Forget that since the notes are based of Abcs these kids were at such a disadvantage since they didn’t even know what came first or second… I’d wait till minimum 7
(I taught piano btw)

If she keeps asking buy her a toy keyboard and let her bang around on it…

https://www.amazon.com/WunderK.....psc=1 They are learning rhythm at that age so you can definitely teach her yourself. A teacher would be a waste of $. But my dd started lessons when she was 5 and she loved it.

Thanks for the replies, makes sense.
Any other activities for this age? Her sister goes to gymnastics but she doesn’t like it.
