Do we just pack the one piece that is allowed or do most people send 2?
And do you send duffel bags or suitcases?
First time and don’t know what most people do…

Pack whatever you need. My son is a super light packer so he only needed one suitcase. If your son needs two, take two. I don’t think there’s a right or wrong here. He should have some type of carry-on to use for going away there.

My son takes duffle bag with wheels - the largest size from amazing savings
You don’t want too large bec then you need to send in the oversized luggage
1st time he took 2 luggages
Blanket and pillow he got there
Linen I sent with him

My son is a light packer. He took one suitcase, but he did get linens, pillow and blanket from a relative there.
