My 8 year old son has such super wide feet, I am finding it impossible to find him shoes! I have given up on shabbos shoes, but even finding a comfortable sneaker is hard. I know New Balance is pretty wide, we are trying, but are there any other less known options that people know of? School is starting next week, and we need shoes! Thanks.

You need to buy shoes in wide sizes.

Rockport website has extra wide shoes. Just ordered them for my son. He also needs extra wide. They may still have sales too. I agree that it is hard to find extra wide shoes.

Clarks H fitting
In England all shoes have a width as well as a length so it's much easier to get a good fit.

My kids are also extra wide feet.
I have ordered from Clarks USA and England when ever I have someone coming.
Good luck for when they are adults. DH is struggling, most of Clarks extra wide are tight on him. We are struggling buying a pair now.
The sales lady told us when he is older they have a bigger option but the styles are more for age 60 plus incase we want to start with them already.

Try the Zappos website. They have many options, although I sympathize with the fact that they may not be fashionable for an 8 year old. I have super wide feet (EEE, WW) and have struggled with finding shoes my whole life. I wore granny shoes to my brother's bar mitzvah and I remember a girl in camp telling me that I was wearing "old lady shoes" because I had wedge espadrilles at age 14. It does get better and fortunately, I have options at my age. My son also has very wide and chunky feet and could only wear sneakers. We eventually bought him very expensive men's shoes for Shabbos (Bally, Allen Edmonds.) He wears mostly sneakers now and the ones with stretch fabric generally fit in extra wide. Some of the New Balance stores have a selection of shoes from a brand called Dunham. There is also a catalog called Hitchcock Shoes in Massachusetts. https://www.wideshoes.com/?msc.....65f37 You might find him something there. Lace up shoes may give him more room. Never let a salesperson talk you into bigger length and less width. It simply doesn't work.

Just took a quick look at the men's section of Hitchcock. They have men's penny loafers and boat shoes going up to 8E(!) so you can definitely find something there. They may cost a bit more than normal kids shoes, but it is a necessity to have a good fit. For the poster whose dh is having problems finding shoes, hopefully this will also give you options.
