I am looking to bring in some extra income to help cover our expenses. I work in an office from 9-4 and have 3 little kids at home, so don’t really have much extra time. I am looking for any easy ideas I can do for a couple hours at night to help bring in more money. Any ideas?

Curious about this too - especially remote options.

Cooking an extra few portions and do that for elders who don’t have fam nearby but are willing to pay for the service. I once heard of that and thought it’s a win win.
A quick books bookkeeping account.
Whatever you do 9-4, can you hustle that during your after hours?

I agree to daven to hashem and learn shaar bitachon. Hashem is in charge of Parnassah. You should first see if your kids or husband will suffer if you take on extra work. It also could be that if you take on more Parnassah you will have more unexpected expenses. Do really think about this before you add on more work.

Omg. Throw tomatoes at me to.
You are already working more than your share. Your children need a healthy mother. They don't need the stuff you need to buy to take care of them. They just need you.
Is there a husband figure in your picture?

I don't know your story and I won't ever judge. But I can't imagine how a mother can show up whole and present when the focus is how to make more money.

Obviously it's hard these days because life is so expensive. And kids NEED soo much.

With that said.. Maybe there is a skill you can learn on the side and slowly change your 9-4 job that can potentially make more money down the line.

If your job has overtime as an option you can get paid time and half, might be more worth it than looking at other options. Some remote flexible jobs include typing, transcription, customer service, telemarketing.

I have always wanted to be a part of the wedding business but on a super minor level. Get some physical thing that people like to rent for weddings then convince wedding halls to offer it as an extra on their packages. Like on my packages they offered “violinist $200” and then you had to call the violinist yourself and schedule

You can bring it and set it up everytime there is a request. I am trying to think of examples, these may not be so practical but here is example:
- flower wall
- manless Photo Booth
- shtick
I didn’t think through these well but there is for sure something kallahs would like as an extra that halls don’t automatically offer

It could be a couple hundred to rent. And then you’re only busy when you need to drop off and pick up whenever that is

Where can I find these remote options? That is what I was thinking of, some kind of remote job I can do when I have a couple of extra hours after my kids are sleeping.
