We have this insurance too and I coudnt find a frum place in lkwd or monsey that accepts it. I had posted this question here a few months back and someone posted this listing
https://www.vsp.com/eye-doctor.....=true
hope that helps. hatzlacha
its frustrating because its nice coverage but frum places with nice frames dont seem to accept it

Thanks.
I was so happy at eyes on the nine.
I’m hoping I can find comparable.

I know, same. We are so disappointed.
We recently went to Vison Works, because they take VSP. So far okay.....but wish we could go back to Eyes on 9.

Optical eyeland original Lakewood location.
They’re out of network with vsp but:
You pay for your glasses and they submit all your reimbursement paperwork electronically on the spot so you get you out of network check, my plan gives about $125 back.
They also have great salespeople, a large selection and tons of older frames in stock which widens the selection and may be cheaper. Right now sale is going.
They have $30-50 decent frames actually, you can get a comlete pair for around $100.

What about eye doctors who take VSP? I'm out a doctor since eyes on 9 stopped.

It depends what your coverage is.
For now we used the Optometrist with vision works. But I have both health insurance (Aetna) and an eye plan (VSP) so in the future, I can see an eye doctor on Aetna, but go to VSP for prescription. I might do that.

That's a great option. My health insurance doesn't cover a vision exam, so I'm limited to a VSP doctor or out of pocket. It's a shame- I was a patient by Dr. Borkowski before he was by Eyes on 9...

Me too
We tried vision works.
There was almost no options for kids snd my older girls couldn’t find a pair there.
We needed more help. They just ignore you until you are done.
In network I have $250 toward frames + tons of upgrades. I’d be so sorry to miss out on it.
Not sure what to try next.

Yes they help with picking out and have a kids selection. Not sure on the quality of the kids section because I didn’t pay attention but they definitely have

Thank you again!
It was such a nice experience. The had nice children glasses. And glasses for picky teen girls and they were very helpful.
Just a note to others - eyes on the 9 included a one year warranty. Here you have to pay $39 fo warranty plus $13 copay if you want.
I’m a former dr berkowski patient. I might try them also for that.
