Is it off to wear a headband fall to a Lakewood chasuna? I generally just wear a topper and it’s not tznius enough for this particular event. But I also have a full headband fall - I just feel like it’s not fancy enough and will look off which I also don’t want.

I live in Brooklyn not in Lakewood. Get a fancy headband that should be fine I don't think it's that big of a deal.

Yes it will look off. Any friends close to your color that you can borrow a wig from?
My sister did that once in a pinch

I don't see why not with a more elegant band. But I will add that I am someone that doesn't mind being a little different for my own comfort and convenience.

In Lakewood it will appear off. Most other places, it won’t, as long as the band is dressy.

Yes, not done in Lakewood. Fall is considered more casual no matter what you wear with it.

Thanks everyone! I had a feeling it wouldn’t look
right but appreciate everyone’s directness! I can sometimes be okay “standing out” a little but for a lot of reasons in this particular situation I just need to blend in.
