You can add vanilla extract or strawberry jelly for flavoring. Or fresh strawberries.

There are lots of ways to make it. In a yogurt cooker, in an instant pot, in a slow cooker. Other people might know other methods but it depends on what tools you have available. You can buy cy yogurt starter or use some store bought yogurt as starter.

Thanks. What sort of flavoring do companies use to get the strawberry flavor that I buy from the stires ?

I use store bought yogurt as a starter, and then I use instapot, fresh fruit/frozen fruit/ jam they all work. Vanilla is easy just use vanilla extract and sweetener of your choice

There's a company that makes big tubs of greek yogurt but doesn't taste like greek-maybe it's a mixture? I dont know. Noone in my house will touch greek yogurt but they all like this one. It says creamy blend on the tub, I'll try to look later and post which brand it is
Maybe it pays to try it?

Norman's Greek creamy blends? I think it comes in both big tubs and single servings. It's very good, I don't know if it tastes "not Greek" but different Greek yogurts taste different from each other.

Making your own yogurt is definitely worth it though if you're going to be using a lot, especially if you prefer regular over Greek. (Greek yogurt is strained, so you get less for the same amount of milk, making it more expensive either way. I haven't done the math but I think you save less by making Greek yogurt at home.)

As I posted to ask you for it I was thinking of the Norman’s. My kids don’t like it, sadly.
