Movado watches are around $1000 but I managed to get one for DH for $300 on ebay, brand new with the box.
Ebay is definitely the place to look.

Tj maxx has a nice watches discounted- you might need to go a few times.
Jomashop.com has a great selection discounted old styles brand watches.
Movado outlets store has movado Ebel and concord. A concord would be about $650 when they have additional 40 off (now) and a large selection of movado a all price points.
