Experienced shoppers;
In which Lakewood womens clothing stores (that has dresses up to $250 for something really nice) do you get the most bang for your buck (iow what you buy is a blinda metzia)?
Where do you end up buying repeeeeeatedly?

I don't feel pressured to buy in any store.
Fox's is a discount/outlet store, they get old stock and sell it, so their prices are lower. You don't find alot of that in Lakewood. Your second-best would be to shop sales.

Clover is the biggest bang for your buck. But nothing high end. I think it’s the only women’s discount store in lkwd.
There used to be a store burgundy that sold gorgeous prices very cheap. I got simcha dresses there for my kids simcha that looked much more expensive.
I haven’t found anything that takes its place.

I'm not in Lakewood, but I usually buy discounted current style shoes at Macy's, Amazon, Nordstrom Rack, and DSW. Why would you need a frum store for that?

Step in elegance and shoe palace both have outlets in the basement.
DSW has huge selection nearby. Marshall’s and tj maxx are both nearby. Some stores have better selections than others.

OOOOPS I just realized youre talking about shoes, not clothing, so the below diesnt apply. I have way less trouble finding shoes.
I shop online a lot, bec when Im in a department store, they rarely have the styles I like in the sizes I need.
But shopping for Tznius necklines, hemlines and sleeve lengths, and wanting trendy but frum-world accepted styles, I rarely find anything in department stores. I wear maxi length a lot, during the week and Shabbos, and I prefer straighter more fitted skirts to wide skirts, and in the non Jewish world, that automatically means slits up to the - - -.
It hasnt worked for me. Sometimes Im lucky with Foxs, otherwise I neeed frum stores, which is a problem because unless youre paying a fortune, the materials used and the workmanship is garbage-y.

The Gallery is expensive but their pieces are unique and it’s the only stuff I wear year after year. Fame is also great and decently priced.
