Send help! I’m a simple cook for Shabbos.. I know what we eat and that’s all I make.
Dd11 just came back from camp and asked if she could invite a few friends for Shabbos. They live oot and are going back home Sunday.
I’m sooo happy she made good friends and thrilled to host. But um, what do I make? What extras do I need for snacks? Third meal? My kids eat a slice of deli and call it a meal!
Dd doesn’t want me to stress. So im remaining calm…. Send all ideas. Thanks !!!

Make enough challah, tomato dip( its the most popular dip), kugal etc. stock up on drinks and afternoon snacking. Make sure you have enough cereal and milk for breakfast and cake and rugelach. Hope she has a fun shabbos!

I have an 11 yr old. Fun age. Her friends are over a lot
For shabbos snacks she and her friends like pretzels, fruit, seaweed and candy. Sometimes I make mini muffins.
For seudah shlishit they like cold orzo, cut up veggies, maybe hummus or parve ranch dip and more fruit. I keep it simple with grapes and apple slices.
Cute paper goods make it seem more special. Weather permitting sometimes they eat outside.
Hope it's a fun time for everyone!

Include typical foods like challah, fish, chicken. Salads. Shabbos day should have cholent , Deli and anything else. You can also buy extra foods like kugel and shnitzel if youndont want to patchke.
Think of something filling for sholosh seudos. Doesn't have to be typical, but something to wash on.
Buy some nosh for the house. Doesn't have to be tons.
This age food is not really such a big deal, but always hard when you don't know what these girls like.
My daughter is a little older and she would go through the entire menu to make sure I make what she likes. Enjoy your not being particular about what you serve
