I need to run some difficult reports every week in job. I have this software idea that should really simplify things.

How do I get to ai? Can I do it by myself or need a developer for it?

Just go to https://claude.ai/ and tell it what your idea is, and ask how to build it. I have a paid plan because the free version is limited.

AI is like magic in Harry Potter. You can do anything at all, so long as you're willing to learn how and practice till you get it right.

So does magic in Harry Potter... Neither can make you dinner, for example.

Do you have AI experience? It’s as smart as the smartest person that programmed it. It’s good at searching databases that’s about it.

Yes I do, as a matter of fact, I use it multiple times a day often. And it's good for a lot more than searching databases. Obviously you have to be using the paid version to get the full benefits. And different techs would be better for different tasks. And you also have to learn how to use it. Basic prompts will they do basic responses. With the right prompts you can get nearly anything.

AI is not smart, it's capable. And it's far more capable than any programmer. It has endless information as at its disposal. But yes it's only as good as the prompts you ask it.

Just like magic. What matters is how skilled the wizard is, not how powerful the magic is. In AI, the wizard is you/ the user.
