Organizing, Purging and Upkeep

I manage fine in the rest of the home and enjoy a place for everything and everything in place. I feel good when I get rid of things.

But I need help with the clothes closets. I need someone to show me how to make these decisions and really feel confident getting rid of clothes I like but don't always wear.

I've read so much, watched many videos. Is there anything that anyone can recommend that can help me with this?

Get a clothes-wise friend to work with you. Try on everything and have her tell you what is flattering and what is not. Keep the former, dump the latter.

Also: check what goes with what. Say sayonara to any top, no matter how expensive, that doesn't work with at least three skirts, and any skirt that doesn't go with at least five tops. If you own a lot of clothes, say more than thirty tops and fifteen skirts, get rid of any top that doesn't go with five or six skirts at least, and any skirt that doesn't go with ten tops or more.
