currently looking for more space in my laundry closet......... over the door options sounds messy to me.... any decent options out there?

In my kitchen
I put on an end cabinet baskets. It gets tings off the counters and looks cute. Like fruit/avocado/bananas/onions/tomatoes. That made a huge difference.
Also mounted cutlery cups on wall-end cabinet. Tried to get as much stuff off serface as possible.
Add shelves to cabinets.
add shelf pullouts to cabinets.
I live in a small house with nice sized family. I’m not organized but we utilize space. Just need to think of how.
In my laundry room we installed cabinets over the washer/dryer and a shelf. I also added a tor in front of there to hang clothing. Like a tendsion shower rod.
