Aside for backpacks or uniforms, or mark those down separately. I'm getting a little sticker shock from the school supply lists (and I'm shopping at Walmart!).

It took me forever but I did item by item price comparison and split for the orders between Amazon, target and Walmart. There were several items whose price differential was surprisingly high

I only had to buy uniform for my oldest girls since I'm passing down to others. $288 and that did not include her school sweater that fits from last year !! School supplies was less since I overbought last year (about $150 from target ) . Sefarim I'm passing down but still spent around $85 on new items
