Hi! We are going to Toronto for a wedding soon, will be there Thursday to Sunday. Traveling with 12 yr old girl, 7 yr old boy and 4 yr old boy. Need ideas for what to do there (including food, activities, takeout for shabbos, etc), as well as any good places to stop on the way there and back, because we plan to break up the trip as much as possible. Thanks in advance!

Toronto has a lot of things to do. There's the Toronto Zoo, wonderland, Ripley's Aquarium, the CN tower, black Creek Pioneer village, the ROM, Casa Loma, center island etc ...
Also Niagara is great to do before getting to Toronto. They have a bunch of things there too.
Food depends on where you are staying and how much you want to spend and take out vs. more sit down. Up north there's cafe sheli, tov li, Bali laffa, golden chopsticks, the nosh, Howie ts etc... and down south there's slice n bites, chicken nest, tov li south, dr. Laffa, and so on. For Shabbos you can get tons of ready made at Sobeys.

My grandparents live in Toronto, so we often take end of summer road trips that bring us to Toronto for Shabbos. A couple of years ago we decided to spend a week in Toronto as tourists and we really enjoyed it. My kids loved the Ontario Science Center and the aquarium (really cool shark tunnel). We decided not to spend a ridiculous amount of money to go up to the top of the CN Tower, but we walked around in that area and found a cute train museum with a little train ride that the younger kids especially enjoyed.
We found the zoo a little disappointing, but we're used to the Bronx Zoo. There was a lot of walking and not so much shade and we got rather overheated. Although they do have kangaroos, which the Bronx Zoo does not. We took a Harbor Cruise and walked along the harbor and explored a bit and also visited Fort York. We lucked out and the Royal Ontario Museum was having a Fantastic Beasts exhibit (Harry Potter franchise) while we were there so that was fun. We're also a little nerdy and like to visit capitol buildings when we can so we took a tour of the Legislature. If we had more time, we would have visited Centre Island. If our kids were bigger we might have gone to Canada's Wonderland. I have fond memories of going with my cousins back in the day.

The Hockey Hall of Fame was so much fun! I'm no a super-fan, but the element of nostalgia was great. You can also take in a Blue Jays game.
