What about a biking trail with bike rentals? Can't seem to find a anything like that
Or motor boats or speed boats |
Rickets glen has boating, but not motor boats (according to my research)
4 or 5 people can fit in rowboats. they are $30. an hour.
like our FB page at:
Sunny Side Marina LLC boat rental at Ricketts Glen State Park.
our full price list is there.
call direct at #570-477-2830 / email whiterockfarms@aol.com
Biking you can do by Jim Thorpe
neither are that close to scranton though. Could be there's something closer, I don't know.

One day we'll do Nay Aug park, one day Clawns N Paws zoo. Any ideas for day 3? Looking for something exciting, the fair would've been perfect. Dd loves fun and rides
Thanks! |
Nay Aug park is NOT an all day thing. 2-3 hours maybe, depending on how much trail walking you plan to do.
There is the West End fair from the 18th-24th-It's about an hour away.

You can also get a tour of a chicken plant-from shechita to packaging if you're interested. It's free, you just need to call and ask for one.

My and my girls, not so much lol.
What's the number? And is there anything else nearby that the squeamish part of the family can do?

La Festa-the Italian festival-downtown scranton, every year, labor day weekend. It's mostly food, a few bands/entertainment, a few non food vendors.

David Elliot Poultry 570-344-6348
It's not far from nay aug park, houdini museum, steamtown national historic site, trolley museum. All are about 10 minutes away. The tour is about 45 minutes or so-depending on how many questions you ask and how much interest you show.
