And while we're at it. I would love to treat myself to a meat board but they're a fortune!
Who would sell a decent priced one in Brooklyn area?
Or decent priced ready meats that I can 'board' myself?

Ive never really done anything special for shabbos nachamu. Is that a thing? (Genuinely asking)

Maybe you can put one together yourself. Packaged might not be the same as someone who makes it fresh him/herself but you can probably do something you'll enjoy yourself.

Ty.
I would buy ready meats from a takeout and make the board myself.
Would love to know which takeout would have decent price meats?

I am making oyster steak. Rub with olive oil and montreal steak seasoning. I cook 5-6 min per side in the grill pan. I very rarely fry chicken cutlets, so I'll probaby serve that as well since its a yomtov treat that I don't often have. I have some franks n blanks in the freezer so that will be a special side.

It's a special shabbos. Similar idea to shabbos mevarchim.

I'm not making, but here are ideas:

- cheek meat for shabbos night meal
- extra kugel: sweet noodle, yerushalmi, apple
- cheesecake for shabbos morning
- extras to serve alongside the cholent: kishka, franks n bnaks, lachmagine, hassellback salami
- grilled cowboy steak, and serve a few slices per person along with the chicken main
- special dessert
