Eichah was my first song I listened to as well. I remembered on tisha bav that I haven’t listened to it recently, so that was the first song I turned on after chatzos. Seemed appropriate for this year sadly.

Also my girls camp songs.
Actually brought tears to my eyes. I know that sounds crazy, but they are just such fun songs that make you want to be a girl at camp again, with no responsibility and just having fun. I love camp. Wish I could do it again

Avodat Halev by Aryeh Kunstler and Itzik Dadya. I watched an interview where Aryeh talked about how meaningful the song is to him and wanted to listen to it then but it was during the three weeks. It’s a beautiful song! So relatable.

Hadlukas Rashbi
The solemn medlies before the lighting of the medura always bring up strong emotion in me. I can cry as if I'm at kever Rashbi. Then when the lebedige medlies come up, I literally dance and clap in my kitchen.
Feels so good for my neshama.

I also had in mind that I wanted to listen to Eicha first. ( and I was still singing it on Shabbos intermittently with Nachamu.)
In the end I think I heard something else first but I did listen to Eicha on Thursday and Friday.
I really appreciate that he put a song like that to express Tisha Bav so well.
