Hi all. I just moved to Israel a year ago and my son is becoming bar mitzvahd in March. I can do the celebration in a hall but I'd really prefer to something outdoors. Does anyone know of an outdoor venue that would agree to do a bar mitzvah? I need soemthing for my immediate family (a few couples coming from america) a few cousins and mostly my sons class who want to dance. What would it entail from me? ( do I need to set up a tent... or they supply it..) about how much would it cost? Any information would be so helpful!

Can't think of any ideas for you, although something tells me there are probably nice outdoor places in Gush Etzion.
But just wanted to say - my DS was born end of March (more than 20 years ago but still) - and it snowed the week before he was born, so it's not always necessarily spring-like weather that time of year.

Yes, weather in March is vary variable, unless you are going to Eilat or similar. I'd try looking for a hall with an outdoors space, so you can use both, depending on the weather. (Many outdoor venues don't even open until close to Pesach.)
For your sons class, it needs to be somewhere easily accessible, not on a yishuv in the middle of nowhere.
I've been to beautiful weddings utilising indoor and outdoor space at Ramat Rachel. I don't know if they do Bar Mitzvahs, but you could ask them. (If you go there, you might need to arrange a hasaah for your sons friends.)

I'm not finding the moshavs website. Do you have a phone number for them?

No sorry, hopefully someone else can help you.
I went to a wedding there once and it was beautiful.
