I had a break from laundry and shopping for 9 days. 2 things which I hate and take up so much of my time.
My days were calmer and freer.
And now I'm back in with a shebang BH.
But what was the purpose?
Maybe years ago when people only had 2 dresses that had to be washed in the river.
Nowadays we have enough clothes to last us more than 9 days.
And now I'm left with a Mt Everest of laundry and I'm feeling so overwhelmed.
While last week I felt like I'm on vacation...

Totally! Sunday is usually a big laundry day for me and I took the kids to the park instead. Now I have mountains of laundry to tackle

I enjoyed the break from folding and putting away. And all the hang dry items doing just that. But honestly I love empty hampers. Waiting until chatzos was very very hard for me. When Tisha bav is nodcha or Thursday I pull almost all nighters and have a great adrenaline rush to get it all done
