So if you want a different look go with oval. If u want a more standard classic look do round. I have round and I love it. I like the classic look.

I love princess cut for eternity bands, I think oval looks really nice for an engagement ring but don’t love the look on an eternity band

Edited to add I see on google there are some ovals that dont have those pointy prongs...just keep it in mind.

It really depends on what looks good on your finger. Like if you have short fingers the oval might look a bit overwhelming.
