What should I do missed synthroid dose

I can’t take it without water and my rav wants me fasting until I really can’t anymore even though I’m pregnant. I’m nervous about missing a dose. What should I do?

take it dry, or just take 2 tomorrow. it's no problem to take 2 the next day - I do that all the time per my endocrinologist. it's the average that counts. Once the pharmacy gave me the wrong dose - double the dose - and I took it every other day until I used it up. no problem to miss 1 synthroid dose OP.

Its really no problem to skip one dose of synthroid even pregnant, can take it after the fast

Take with less than an ounce of water.

I didn’t take synthyroid as the doc doesn’t want me taking it while pregnant and I only have this issue during pregnancy.

I skip days all the time and it’s fine but not pregnant though..

Not pregnant, but I usually take it after the fast, if I remember. Otherwise, I just miss one dose

It’s supposed to be taken without food. So unless you’re not eating for 45 minutes or so after you take it, I believe it’s not as effective

Google says if you miss a dose, dont double it.... So def would ask pharmacist before doing that

Some if it doesnt get absorbed as well but theres still a point of taking it, most research actually shows that caffeine makes it not get absorbed as well other food not so much impact. I personally take it tonight when breaking my fast

my doctor once told me they divide the amount u need per week into 7 days and makes no difference if u skip a day and just take 2 the next day.

Take with a shotcup or less of water. My rov said 100% no problem.
