Nope, I have little kids who need a baby sitter, and I’m not calling one.

I read eicha to my kids at home. We also have specific Tisha ba'av books that I read to them from.

I used to go before I had children, but now I listen online. In a couple of years my youngest will be old enough that I can start going again I think.

Always went, until I had a child.
As a teen I was very often in sleep away camp. Or went to shul with my parents.
In adulthood I always went to shul.
When I made aliyah I either went to the Kotel or a gathering outside the Old City Walls, which was so meaningful.
Nowadays it's all at-home programming. I need my strength to take care of my family.

I went to camp every year from the age of 7. In camp, the rabbi read Eicha over the mic. I didn't know that some women don't hear Eicha.

One summer, my mother and I went to Europe to visit my grandparents. On Tisha B'av, I wanted to go to shul with my grandfather to hear Eicha. I thought it was mandatory, like hearing megilas Esther. My mother and grandmother insisted women don't go. I prevailed and went with my grandfather. The women's section was full. I came home and told my mother and grandmother and they couldn't believe it.

Now I'm married with a bunch of Littles. Haven't heard Eicha in years.

When my kids were little I put them to bed, and then said Aicha out loud myself in the tune, as best I could. They fell asleep hearing it.
When they got older we transitioned to going to shul to hear it.
