Basically, I don't know why Ma takes me so literally. I mean I'm literally just, and shes making a whole situation out of it. Actually, guys, you totally need to chill!

Mine says basically, when she starts saying anything. Makes me laugh every time.
Basically I went to school today, and basically the girl behind me was missing her notebook. So basically I gave her mine. Hahaa

Mine too!! Every sentence starts with "basically". I always make fun of her about it.

I started counting how many times my daughter says basically in every conversation. it's over the top.
I find this annoying.

also, I'm fainting. as in "the rugelach smell so good, I'm fainting".
I find this hysterical.

sometimes she says "I'm psyched".
I find this cringey so I told her not to say it.

Growing up, we always said "chalishing", which is pretty much the same. "She's so yum, I could chalish!" "OMG, I'm chalishing to buy those!" Really? Like they're cute shoes, but not really worth losing consciousness over.
My son now proclaims everything to be "fest" or "mechayeh" (chassidish school, lol)
