Have some extra farmer cheese that a brand no one likes. It's low fat or something. Anyway was thinking to make cheese latkes for the kids before the fast. Anyone have a good recipe?
TIA

I make a similar recipe. These ingredients but 1/2 cup sugar and 3 tablespoons sour cream. It's from the balabustas choice. It's delicious.

I don't have sour cream. What can I use instead? Or can I leave it out?

You can probably leave it out. I think the sour cream is for texture rather than flavor.

16 oz farmer cheese
2 eggs
Half cup flour
Salt and pepper
Onion powder
Mix. Form patties. Spray with pam. Bake at 420 until it starts to get golden then flip and bake on other side (around 20-25 min total probably)
