It's due to absorption. Only oral BC is affected. Some people with PCOS lose weight and are more fertile but I don't think that's the average person.
If you need to prevent pregnancy and you take ozempic switch to nuvaring, the patch or an IUD.

I just hope that whoever prescribed it gives the proper informed consent. Endos will tell their patients not to try to get pregnant x amount of time after going off of it!!! It needs to be fully out of your system for a while!!! But most ppl don’t know or care… Let’s find someone who will give me this magic weight loss shot without me knowing any risks or benefits. Sad sad world.
